Please excuse the crazy hair! ;)

Maternity Clothes? Yep. Still able to wear below the belly pants and oversized t-shirts.

Best moment this week: Seeing my little guy on the screen again! Valentine's Day was a crazy busy but great day. David and I were able to catch up with a lot of family with lots of laughter and good company. :)

Movement: Ohhh yes. Our little guy is going to be a soccer player like his Daddy.

Food Cravings: Nothing too out of the ordinary.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: Yep.

Gender Prediction: Still a boy!

Labor signs: Nope

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? When I do wear them, they are on and loose

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy. David says I'm less moody than pre-pregnancy Jordan.

Looking Forward to: Dinner with great friends tomorrow night, finishing up our registries in the next few weeks, celebrating David's 26th birthday next weekend!

20 Week Update...It's a BOY!

Total weight gain/loss: Around 5 lbs...eek!

Maternity Clothes? Some. Loving yoga pants and oversized t-shirts while working at home!

Sleep?  Still sleeping really well. Still getting up once or twice to use the bathroom.

Best moment this week: We found out Friday that it's a boy! Right when the sono tech lady put the transducer (the wand thingy.. yes I googled it) on my belly, she instantly said, "I know what you are, little person!" No denying what we saw on that screen!

Movement: A whole lot! It is so exciting to feel him moving and grooving. David has even been able to feel some kicks...the look on his face is pretty priceless.

Food Cravings: I have been eating a lot of waffles and oranges!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: uhh yeah.

Gender Prediction: Definitely a BOY!

Labor signs: Nope

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? When I do wear them, they are on and loose

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy. David says I'm less moody than pre-pregnancy Jordan.

Looking Forward to: The weekend!

Best moment this week: Since its been a few weeks I have a few great moments!

My doctor's appointment went well; I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat and its still moving around a lot!

Christmas was a busy but wonderful day. We had a full day of family, laughter, food and giving gifts and we were imagining next year with a little one!

Movement: Still not sure if I'm feeling any movement

14 Week Update

How far along? 14 weeks, 6 days!

Total weight gain/loss: I think I've actually lost about 2 lbs of muscle :(

Maternity Clothes? I have worn a few maternity things but they are still pretty big on me!

Stretch Marks? Nope

Sleep?  Last night was the first night of getting up to pee more times than I can count! Other than that, I've been sleeping pretty well - even with some pretty crazy dreams. One was pretty much out of the Twilight movies with a baby clawing its way out of my stomach, that was lovely.

Best moment this week: Getting home after three whole days of inspections all over Texas for work and spending time with David.

Movement: Not yet, although yesterday I thought I felt something very faint - definitely wasn't my stomach growling haha

Food Cravings: Chocolate, stuff dipped in Ranch...

Anything making you queasy or sick: I start to feel gross when I haven't eaten in a while.

Have you started to show yet: I think I still look like I have just eaten too much, but I definitely have a belly.

Gender Prediction: My mom and I think girl, my sisters think boy!

Labor signs: Nope

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? When I do wear them, they are on and loose

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, I'm apparently not as moody as I was pre-pregnancy lol. I am so freaking emotional though! I bought a onesie from Buc-ee's on my trip from College Station to Nacogdoches and started crying once I got in the car!

Looking Forward to: My next doctor's appointment next week, no ultrasound though :(

I just gotta brag on my sweet husband. I found out he has a secret chocolate stash for me whenever I have a craving! hahah I am one lucky girl.

Baby Meline: June 2015

So we have finally spilled the beans about our little addition coming in June and I couldn't be more excited! We are now officially at 14 weeks - the Second Trimester! Its a little hard to believe that we're a third of the way there already.

I have been blessed with no morning sickness or nausea so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm in the clear by now. The only symptoms I've really had is feeling exhausted for a few weeks, but I think my energy is back now. Occasionally I will have some pain in the small of my back and I will get headaches, but I've always gotten headaches so its not much different!

I have had a few cravings this first trimester, but nothing too insane: pickles, deviled eggs, frozen yogurt, and chocolate. I can't truly say chocolate is a pregnancy craving because I have always craved my sweets!

At this point I'm not sure if I'm just bloated or I am actually showing! It might be all the frozen yogurt and ice cream ;)

Playing Catch Up

Wow. I can't believe I haven't posted since April. Just a little run-down of what has been going on...

Work. I've been kept busy working and adjusting to a full-time job. It's been a challenge waking up early every day and dealing with some hectic deadlines but I think I'm getting the hang of it! ;)

Weddings. David and I have gone to four weddings so far this year.. and two more are coming up soon! It has been a blast seeing our friends get hitched.

Health and Fitness. I have been attempting to get back on the workout wagon and eat healthier. I've been following the lovely Brianna Sky blog  at www.shineorset.com and been cooking out of her "Eatin' Clean, Livin' Lean" e-book. Some of my favorite recipes include the Turkey Sausage & Zucchini Pizza Boats and the Spinach & Turkey Bacon Mac and Cheese!

I'm going to try to start using this blog as a way to keep me accountable with my fitness journey. It will be a challenge for the next few months with a big Aggie Football season coming up full of tailgates, parties, and more weddings! :)

Playing a little catch up...

I have been way behind in posting on here...Sorry!

I have an excuse though: I am officially employed! It was so sudden and I wasn't expecting to find a job for another two months (until after graduation), but the stars aligned and God made it work perfectly. It's pretty crazy. I am currently training to become a commercial real estate appraiser and so far it's been a pretty cool experience. The hardest part is getting into a new routine and waking up early. The next few months might be a little quiet from me due to the fact that I will be working almost full time, finishing up my last class AND starting my online training for appraisers.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with our families and I just loved the time I got to spend laughing and catching up with so many sweet people in our lives!

(Thanks Ri and Mom for letting me steal these pics ;) )

This morning David and I went to the gym at 5:30AM--yes you read that right--and we played racquetball! It was fun and a great way to start my day (and wake me up) and it really helped that I had a buddy nudging me to get out of bed haha :) We are going to try to get into the habit of going early in the mornings while the gym is completely deserted and we can get some exercise in before we head to work.

I did want to give a few recommendations for things I've seen/used the past few weeks.

First, its the Cuisinart Griddler Gourmet.

I got this for a wedding gift and I have finally pulled it out and tried it. Not only can you cook pancakes on it, you can grill sandwiches and hamburgers too. The plates are removable and dishwasher safe which pretty much sold it for me. I HATE hand washing things like that. The only thing that could improve it would be to have it at a slant so grease could drain better. Other than that, its pretty awesome!

Next, I have been OBSESSED with this girl's makeup tutorials on YouTube. I wasn't a big YouTube watcher/subscriber until I watched her videos and now I can't wait until she posts a new one. Her name is Jaclyn Hill and she's a MAC makeup artist. Her makeup tutorials can be a little more dramatic than your everyday makeup look, but she's so fun to watch and she really does give great tips for even basic stuff like flawless foundation application. Check her out!

Have a great rest of the week! (Only three more days until the WEEKEND!)
